Before downloading any files, you must confirm you have hardware version 1.0. Installing firmware meant for a different version can permanently damage (brick) your device. Flip your router over. Look for the sticker on the bottom. Find the character string "Ver:1.0" or "V1.0." If it says V2 or V3, do not use V1.0 firmware. Pre-Update Checklist

Open a web browser and type 192.168.1.1 or mwlogin.net into the address bar. Log in with your admin password.
